UEC Theatres 12

It's a nice enough theater. The staff are helpful. The seating is comfortable. However, the sound system is not top rate.

Visited during the pandemic. Staff were all standing together with no mask. I took our children into the restrooms before our movie and they were downright disgusting. We decided not to use them. When I informed the staff they were filthy and some covered in feces they seemed unconcerned and continued chit chatting. Upon entering the movie they theatre was not cleaned and dirty food and drinks were left everywhere. I was appalled that we paid to take our 5 children to see a movie and that the theatre was that disgusting. I sprayed lysol on our seats before even sitting on them.

Highest recommendation. The staff helped me look for my car keys - in the theater, in the trash cans (two trash cans) they would not stop until I found my keys.nnThank you for helping me find my keys.nnI'll go to this theater anytime.

Please don't close down.

The previews projector in a theater was malfunctioning, notified staff, and was told to wait until feature projector would switch on in 20 minutes. A number of seats' reclining (back) springs were worn or broken, so the person in front of me smashed into my knees three times. The lobby is lackluster and there are no displays, cutouts, or even posters. There were no seasonings available for the popcorn. Worst of all they don't take American Express online or in-house. We should be able to do better in State College. I now understand why I've seen so many posts of State College people attending Altoona movie theaters.
