One of the two boat launches in Mauch Chunk Lake County Park. Canoe and kayak rentals in the summer, ice fishing in winter, and access to the Switchback Trail. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and a pretty, clean lake with a mostly natural shoreline. The shore opposite from the boat launch is a beautiful hemlock-white pine forest.

Always a fun time at Mauch Chunk Lake whether your there swimming at the beach, fishing the lake or hosting a party/picnic at one of the pavillions! Camping sites. Boat rentals. Camp store.

This launch is located at Mauch Chunk Lake State Park. This launch is where the main office is as well as the boat rentals and the bait and tackle store. At this launch is where the fishing pier is located. Every time I talk with the people fishing the pier they seem to be catching some nice bass and pickerel.

Great park. Fun for fishing, kayaking, swimming, picnics, hiking. I like to take family photos here for the backgrounds.
