Really friendly service and a great selection with very good prices! Most bookstores are extremely overpriced. But you can buy a few books for under $20. Found some rare gems as well and it has a great atmosphere here. Extremely clean plus a STORE KITTY!!! Will be back for more!
You ask for book suggestions and you get lots. They gather the books together and let you know staff favorites. Requesting books is so easy. And getting books from one branch to the other is very quick. The Book Man is my all time favorite retailer.
I love this store! The staff are so helpful and friendly. I called to inquire about a book once, they didn’t have it in so they brought it in from their Chilliwack location which I thought was so awesome. I wouldn’t have minded driving to get it but they offered to have it brought in for me. The store is adorable and is everything a bookstore should be. Plus they have a cat and that alone gets them 4 stars. Definitely recommend them!
I am so happy with the excellent service that I received from Jessica at the Abbotsford location. She was patient with my book request, (even though I didn't have the proper title) Jessica did everything she could through online database searching until she finally located my book. She was so polite and helpful. I will always look to her for any book purchases in the future.
