The employees here deserve a raise for how well they're handling the pandemic! Everyone is so friendly and kind. A really aggressive man barged in without a mask and all the employees and security handled it so extremely well. I'm sorry they have to deal with this kind of stuff but I'm grateful they dealt with it so well.
The staff are so friendly and helpful. Found all the books we were looking for with the except of one. Which is being shipped directly to my home with free shipping, thanks to the girls at Coles Sevenoaks location. Masks are required and if you don't have your own you can purchase one for $1.
Friendly staff, and a good selection for certain genres. If you're looking for sci-fi you may want to go elsewhere. Good cooking selection and good graphic novel selection.
I love this bookstore but due to this experience I don't think I will be returning unfortunately. I was with my father today, and he offered to watch my son so I could shop at a nearby store. He came out of the store upset and I asked what happened and he told me that one of the employees had accused him of stealing a childrens book. The apparently stolen product was a baby shark book that if the employee would have cared to ask instead of assuming, would have seen the winners price tag still on the back of the book. My father stated that she accused him because they were missing their copy of said book. It is not my fathers fault that employees cannot keep a correct stock of books in their store, and I love shopping at this store frequently but now I don't feel comfortable going there as am afraid of being called a thief just because I have my son in his stroller and I bring books from home to keep him occupied which many are books I have purchased from their location. Maybe if the staff member had bothered to ask about the book instead of being so quick to assume that my father cannot afford 6$ for a childrens book and would resort to stealing with his grandchild in his care, then maybe the experience would have been better and I would feel a little bit better about returning to said store.
Loved this lil book store . The prices are great and CAN NOT stress enough about how helpful the staff is! Great place to buy a book for a gift or yourself.
