It's a great place
I called long distance to inquire about Hastings materials at the library that I might find for sale somewhere/online for an upcoming 80th birthday for my dad. My dad was born and raised in Hastings, and it has been a passion of his all his life. For his birthday, my sisters and I decided to bring Hastings to him, since we could not currently bring him to Hastings. Bernadette went above and beyond to help me. She gave me a resource that resulted in two DVDs of Hastings 100th anniversary and also connected me with someone who will be mailing a book out to me soon. A few weeks after our conversation, I got a surprise call from the library asking for my email address. I received a flood of historical Hastings photos in my email. THANK YOU Nikki Weakland! These are precious and priceless! Thanks for being a big part of my dad's birthday!
