My package was on my mailbox instead of in it. If it isnt small enough I thought it was supposed to be next to my door

We went in at 4:10-4:15pm and asked to get or passport done. The guy working there was very crude and rude to us stating that they don't do passports after 3 . we explained our situation but didn't seem to faze him. My mother and I called the post office and asked when we should come in and a woman answered and said come in at anytime before we close to get your passports done. I don't know who this guy is but this post office really has to watch who they hire.
