This library is a magical place. My family and I love it. The play area is nice, there are a lot of engaging toys and activities, my 5yo always has a great time. The staff are fantastic, and they are amazing with my kiddo. And I love that the Ferndale library has laptop computers you can check out to use in the library! It makes it easy to work or study when I need to keep an eye on my kid in the play area.

It's a pretty nice library
Location, friendly staff, and a great facility aides in the enjoyment that one feels as the experience the Ferndale Library's new(ish) building. There are study rooms you can reserve, ample tables with pop up electrical outlets, as well as comfortable chairs to lounge in so you can work or read. As you leave don't forget to stop by the Friends of the Ferndale Library's books for sale center. With a constant rotation of gently used books you're almost guaranteed to find a book to take home.
