Great experience plumber was fast arrived within a hour of calling very knowledgeable and friendly fix my problem swiftly and the price was great. Will use again if I have anymore issues. I also highly recommend you try this company too for all your plumbing needs.
Well here goes (sorry for the long post). Broken outdoor hose bib.nnCalled last Wednesday, told $99 fee if they gave estimate but didnt do the job. Showed up earlier than told (appreciate it but wasn't ready).nnEstimated & paid $875. Convinced sig other that the price was market value. Told us following morning. Took off of work. Showed up at 2 pm (after 2 phone calls).nnPlumber ran to home depot, said he got materials for under $30. Spent 1 hour working.nnCalled company 3 days following asking for itemized bill. Representative finally called back and wanted to know why we wanted an itemized bill and who would view it.nnHour later, got the itemized bill which included $99 service fee. I call, he tells me that $99 is for the work that was done. I questioned if the $99 is in addition to the TWO HOURS (not one) of the labor ($250/hour). He said the $99 is for doing the job (aka labor). Afyrr questioning further, he tells me the $99 is for coming out during a pandemic because they are trying to limit their jobs (24 hr company trying not to do jobs and stay in business?)nnI ask for a refund of $99 fee and he angrily says he will contact supervisor and call me back, hangs up.nnMaterial: $225n2 hrs labor ($250/hr): $500nCovid fee: $99nTax on LABOR and materials: $52nnReported to BBB, Master plumbers of NJ, etc. DO NOT HIRE.
Waste of time. Called at 9 on a Sunday, was told the plumber would be at my home between 10-11. 11:15 rolls around, and the guy says 'I was just about to call you. He'll be there in half an hour'nNoon comes, I call again. The guy says 'I was just about to call you. He's leaving East Amwell, he'll be there in half an hour.'nIt's 12:38 and nobody showed up. I get another guy on the phone. 'We've been in business 25 years, we know what we're doing.'nNo thank you. I'll just call somebody else.
I called about 5 other companies prior to calling this company. A-Absolte plumbing answered immediately and promised a plumber within an hour and a half of our call. 28 minutes later Mike was at our door. Very professional, great prices, friendly attitude and made sure he did the job right. With any other plumbing issues I will be calling them. Choose no other, but the A-Absolute best.
