These pharmacists really do know their customers and their customers' doctors. Unlike the franchise drugstores, Heritage Pharmacy will obtain almost any prescribed medication within 24 hours if they don't have it in stock, and they phone you when they see that a prescription needs to be refilled or the script renewed. Sadly, places with personalized attention like this hardly exist anymore - except, of course, for Heritage Pharmacy in Washington Crossing.

It feels like the last great independent pharmacy. They really care about their customers. Chuck has deep knowledge of medicine and is always willing to answer questions.

I'm all for supporting local businesses over chains, but I bought toilet paper from this place and it cost over $7 for a 4-pack of the thinnest TP ever. I wish I had looked at the price before purchasing or I definitely would have waited until I was somewhere more reasonably priced.

While this place isnt open 24/7, I love the personal attention, and knowing my pharmacists by name. They care about their people and are always looking out for us.
