Should be renamed God's Waiting Room.
Good thing there are Winners and Save-on-Foods here. Otherwise, there’s not much to do here. Very old fashioned food court. The whole place needs a full refresh. Would be nice to see some better/healthier food vendors to start with.nPlenty of parking though. That’s a big bonus these days.
Lots of stores closed.
Love the stores in this little shopping center, still lots of independently owned businesses. The food fair is a let down. 3 places, a pizza , an A & W, and a really lousy sushi place. The mall entrance at the front doesn't have auto doors, the other doors open poorly, strange with the high density of seniors, and a lot in electric chairs & scooters. That is fixable and should be done immediately. Can do a lot to improve accessibility ♿.
Semiahmoo Mall is a small, loveable shopping centre with lifelong loyal customers. Before and during the Covid-19 Pandemic, many stores closed which is a continuing blow to the local population. However some retailers continue to survive for now (November 2020). The anchor stores of Save-on-Foods and Winners may be enough to keep things going. I wish the retailers good luck.
