Aside from the staff being friendly, helpful, and the library itself having a wide array of books to choose from; this library gets extremely noisy on a regular basis. From the loud conversations and laughter of the staff throughout the morning through the evening around 3 - 5pm eastern time when they have their after-school study groups. I come here to study mainly because it is closer to my house than other libraries are but I recently have chose to take an extra 15 minutes out of my way to get some peace and quiet. If you're looking to study here, I suggest getting some noise cancellation headphones and blasting your music. (Which is also an inconvenience when studying) They do not have a study room here so it is almost impossible to avoid the disrupting atmosphere. They get a 2 star from me because day in and day out they seem to lose the meaning of what a library is.
The staff is horrible and the main librarian is even worse! The worst library ive ever been in if you are a student dont come here. Its really bad
The staff here is incredibly rude and unhelpful. The facility itself is tiny and dirty- don't even try using the bathroom. Unfortunately, this library is a sad excuse for a community resource. Won't be returning or recommending to clients.
Libraries are changing with technology. The one star reviews are unwarranted.
I love this branch. The staff is courteous. The DVD selection is great especially for kids as is the children's reading section. It's just the right size for a neighborhood branch. They have good community programs. Far from a waste of taxpayer money. A library is an asset, not a liability.
