Blair County Court House

If you've ever actually had to USE the courthouse for resources, enforcement, HELP... You would quickly realize this office is designed around getting you in and out the door with the least amount of trouble to themselves as possible. The office staff gives you misleading advice in which they are not allowed to give in the first place, which in turn leads you down the path to destruction and misery. Spend the extra money and at least consult a lawyer before going in. Even just our marriage license was almost unbearable enough to move into a different county. Don't base your REVIEW on the physical condition of the building. It is very misleading.

This place is absolutely horrible, they allowed my mother to get away with abuse for 16 years. The judges seem to forget their own laws and every time my father tried to fight for me, my mother won. If you want to get a fair trial you're better off going to an abandoned alleyway and having a homeless dude choose your fate. I would rate negative stars, but obviously that's not possible.

Took a tour of the Court House as a chaperone as part of a youth leadership program. Interesting information, Judge Bernard time to explain the judicial process. Staff was helpful and friendly. Also interesting to see the updates on the seemingly never ending court house renovations! Located in downtown Hollidaysburg in a Victorian gothic building.
