Tell me please, do the butterflies still come? Thousands of them filling the hill down to the train tracks. Along the wooden fence. I lived there long ago, briefly , as quickly as one would pass a familiar face on the street side and both would nod and continue through. It seems like a photo in my head, forever stuck in time. I was 11 It was early spring and the butterflies covered the emptiness I'd feel staring off down at the train tracks, into the tunnels. There was always one boarded up. I never went in, but I always imagined I would. I imagined I'd adventure in there and never come out again. I thought, maybe it's like a cave in there. I knew for sure it was dark. I would stand on the bridge and just stare down at them for hours. I'd find myself there late at night, thinking I could catch something going into them, Or rather something going out. I wondered If they went on forever all the way through to another place similar to this one. Another small town you'd never really know about. With another little girl standing late at night, staring down at them all alone in the moonlight, not afraid of anything. Never afraid of the dark shadows that cast across the bridge or the things under. I bet she sees so many things. Things you'd otherwise miss. Shes a sleepless creature I bet. One that even to this day still cannot sleep at night. I keep that wondering curiosity still. Here I sit wondering, do the butterflies still come? Please tell me.

Susan Balzano embezzles funds , property tax payments which causes many problems for taxpayers which they often won't find out about until months or years later. When questioned about this Ms. Balzano gave some BS sob story about how she doesn't get paid as much as she wants to for being a tax collector, and she has to spend money for software to do her job. So maybe resign from your position rather than cheating the people you are entrusted to serve through your office? Hopefully the Dept of Community &Economic Development will be able to formally look into this and provide some accountability.

Nice small museum and lookout. Frequent amount of trains through the tunnel. Great for rail road enthusiasts. Able to get very close and also above the trains traveling up the mountain and through the tunnels. Also located near other rail fan area's such as the Rail Roaders museum, Horseshoe Curve and the Cassandra crossing lookout. Highly recommended for rail fans!

I have never been there but Gallitzin should have five stars from Russia in case of town is named after Russian famous surname Golitsyn (Голицыны). As idea you can name a house or park as Kuz'minki (Кузьминки). In Moscow it means a huge forest at east city's border, Golitsyn's estate and large district which contains many Khrouschyov's five-storey houses.nПривет из России!
