Worst public defenders office ever. 1st public defender was a waste of space, he continued and continued the case he was assigned to. The final kicker was he just didn’t show up for the hearing that was scheduled. The 2nd one almost the same thing kept continuing the case and then instead of helping with other options she just wanted to take the recommendation from the DA for a long sentence instead of a program that would help straighten out my friend. I know that public defenders don’t make a lot of money but that’s the career they chose, to help their clients is their main purpose and responsibility. I know some people who have had no other option then to use the public defenders office for help and help was the last thing they got. Head of the Public Defenders office should look at their lawyers and reevaluate their performance

I been trying to contact them over 3 weeks and they won’t answer the phone or even call back I would give 0 starts if I could. Can’t even change the public defender since they don’t answer, can’t get information about the case and not even get the papers about what my boyfriend is charged with. Smh why have a phone if you guys don’t use it. Absolutely Don’t recommended

Apparently when you don't have money and you need a public defender to help you it is very difficult to get one to help you. When you are being charged for alimony. And you are the one who is also disabled. . I can't seem to get anybody to help me. I don't know why. Something's not right. Our system has too many flaws. Which then puts me. Hanging out on a limb with a bill over my head that I should not have to pay.

Absolute joke good luck getting ahold of anyone they never ever answer the phone or call back after you leave a message I would leave 0 stars if I could been calling and leaving messages for a month now to no prevail a bunch of clowns wasting your time
