I go to the Starr Books in Royerford a lot. I only come to this one when I have time. But I absolutely love both stores. They always have the best selection of oldies and new releases. I always hold off on buying new books full price because sometimes, somehow, Starr Books get there hands on them mere months after they release. Sometimes even sooner. My book collection started of as a weak one at the beginning of the year, but now, I have 2 full bookshelves and it cost a fraction of what it would have cost at full price. I'll always be thankful to Starr Books. They helped me rediscover my love for reading in 2020. Also, the people who work there are kind and helpful. Most of the time, I just go there to browse and unwind, but I always talk to the workers and I walk out with at least 3 books everytime.
I recommend the store for trying out a new author, picking up a travel read, or finding kids their required reading books for school, especially now in Covid that the school library is less accessible to them.
Love this store. High quality books and friendly staff. Bought many books here over many years.
