Riverview Canoe & Kayak

We had a great day with Riverview. Showed up and they immediately greeted us and we filled out the paper, they asked us if we needed anything from the store then took us up river and he was friendly and talkative. Gave us recommendations for the 12 mile trip, we stopped in foxburg for pizza and wine, and made it to the take out point in Parker, which he showed up quickly to, and took us back to our car at the store. Couldn't have had a better experience!

We called on the phone a bunch of times, and this guy was just the least professional and least helpful person ever - no jokes, it was like he actively didn’t want us to book any canoes with them. First call, he said he was too busy to help us and wouldn’t answer questions until after we paid. Then, the second time, we made it very clear we were wanting to reserve with him and he answered a couple questions, so we needed to figure out which days worked - and he told us to call back ASAP because it was getting full. Then we tried for two days to get in touch during business hours with no answer, and even left a message. Finally got him to answer on a Friday morning before lunch and he said, “I don’t have my book with me. You need to call back. Call back during the week.” We just gave up and found someone else to go through — this place was comically bad.

We have gone here twice now. Always dealt with Mike. He gets back to you quickly and makes it easy for a big group to be kept organized. We always do the Emlenton to Parker trip. Nothing negative to say about our experience. We are going back again in a few weeks.

Not very friendly when I called. If you want business ...inviting and friendliness is a must!!!!
