Great lessons and Ms. Beverly is a great and wonderful vocal instructor
I first met Beverley in 2015, but started taking consistent weekly voice lessons in April 2018, I sought her out in order to prepare for college musical theatre auditions. Not only has she taught me how to protect my voice, she has helped me improve my range, technique, and skill. Bev truly invests in her students and cares about them, I always leave each lesson feeling encouraged and even more in love with music. One of the things I love most about Bev is that you can always count on her to tell you the truth, she genuinely wants her students to thrive and pushes and challenges you in order to meet your goals. If you are serious about improving your craft, there’s no one better trained and equipped than Beverley Hissam.
BH Singer is the place to go if you have serious singing aspirations. I have been taking lessons for a year now and I can’t believe the transformation that has taken place. Beverly’s laid back yet focused approach provides you with the tools to achieve any level of vocal proficiency.
I have been studying with Beverley for 6 months now, both classical and popular styles, and have seen more progress than with any other voice teacher prior. She is a patient, devoted and very effective teacher.
Bev is the best.
