Excellent university for many reasons. There are multiple top 50 ranked STEM and humanities programs. The funding for research is plenty enough that both undergraduate and graduate students will not have a problem finding opportunities. The undergraduate dorms are good and the campus location is great. There are many sites to explore around campus and the campus itself feels like home to many students due to the tall buildings and easy transportation. The campus is very safe with police going around campus daily. The professors are good as long as you choose the right ones. Overall, would recommend attending here for either undergraduate or graduate school if you get the chance.
Schools back in!nAll the kids are following rules and socialnDistancing wearing masks. The restaurants were booming but in a good way. Everyone seems to be having a happy time.
It has its pluses and minuses, but overall I think my daughter is getting a fairly good education there. The university could improve tremendously on housing and food service for the students. Additionally, the faculty supervisor in charge writing classes for engineering students should not assume that all engineering students are unable to write. She should also take a more professional tone when addressing students regarding their writing skills. Hurling insults at students does not improve their writing skills, nor does it encourage them to become better writers. Am I paying tuition dollars that go into her salary? Ugh...
Great school and very pleasant & dynamic urban campus in a charming part of Pittsburgh.
Ran in to get something real quick it would help if it was 2 registers open to make it go quicker.
