OYO Hotel Olympia - Tumwater

Ok, so this is a difficult one for reasons I'll explain along the way., so if you have a minute, I'll be as thorough as possible, while remaining as unbiased as possible. First off, let me start by saying that None of the employees/owners treated me personally in any way other than respectful and courteous, and nothing I say here is a direct reflection of them, and/or the work they do.nNow then, Booking.., this is an area that needs some help. I'm not sure if it's the system, but it seems like the number of available rooms is skewed to keep the price up, cuz I assure you that there's more than only 1 room left! And since most people will book online, this obviously makes it harder to get a deal. **Furthermore, the price you're quoted online (along with coupons & taxes applied), and the price with taxes due at check-in & check-out, is a point of contention that Needs to be Paid Attention Too for both the customer, and the owners.nAre the rooms and bedding clean?, yes.., are there towels?, No, so bring your own. Is T.P. stocked in the bathroom?, yes absolutely. Is there adequate parking?, LoL, without question yes. Free WiFi?., Yes, but it's got to be the worst as far as reliability is concerned. Front desk available and helpful?.., um., what front desk., you won't find anyone there, you must go nextdoor. Which I believe is due to the recent changes in corporate ownership, but that's just a guess. So far, every TV has had a crack directly in the middle of the screen, making it a little more than just distracting while watching. Lastly, is there any amenities currently offered by the hotel like breakfast- No, pool- No, hot tub- No, workout room- No, courier service- I think so but call and check, laundry room- ud83eudd14 maybe. But for the record, it's because of Co-vid that most of these are not available., which should be reflected in the cost but it's not. That about covers it.., so would I recommend staying here, absolutely., just be informed prior to your stay, and leave your assumptions elsewhere, cuz there's no room for such stupidity ya' dig, cheers ud83eudd19ud83cudffe

I used to come here yearly, had great memories. Under new ownership no dogs are allowed... The hotel has changed ownership a few times, good luck keeping this afloat with a no pet policy and being more expensive than others nearby. Cant wait for it to leave OYO's ownership!

No star's!The Absolute worst. No towels garages were full. Some sort of tweaked out contraption in the bathroom. NO staff working there except a maintenance man. The TV didn't work at first attempt, trying to find help with that was ba joke. Absolutely unacceptable.

Definitely one of the worst experiences I've ever had with the hotel. You got a room with a jacuzzi had a great time but had to clean the room myself it was filthy. The worst part was when the head housekeeper came to the room without a mask and asked us to check out two hours before we had to. Then when we went to check out they made us wait 20 to 25 minutes until they went and checked the room they gave us the okay to leave saying everything was fine. They told me I would get my deposit back within 24 hours 3 days later I noticed I had been charged so we called to ask him why the lady at the front desk got irate and rude when we asked her why we were charged she said you broke something and we're like okay what are we break and then she changed her mind and said we stole stuff from the hotel. She couldn't make up her mind what we had done to not deserve or $100 even though we'd left the room cleaner than we had started. My sister is a housekeeper and I have much respect for these people but I have no respect for this company. If you want to have a miserable stay and have your money stolen go ahead this is your place

A great Hotel right off the freeway well lit parking lot that keeps you feeling safe and like all Oyo chain establishments I’ve stayed at they are cash excepting place of business with no credit card needed
