CVS Pharmacy

I was visiting Pittsburgh temporarily for 3 weeks and ran out of an important perscription my last week there. I tried to get my perscription transferred to this CVS from my hometown and it was the worst experience.nnI called Sunday afternoon. They told me they would have the perscription ready first thing Monday and would call me. Monday rolls around and I don't hear anything from them. I try to call, and no one answers the phone. So I wait until Tuesday.. still nothing. I called them again and finally got someone on the phone after several tries. They tell me they cannot find any of my records and that my perscription was apparently not filled by the pharmacist. They apologize and tell me it will be ready the next morning.nnI was anticipating a phone call from them all day Wednesday, and I got nothing. I decided to just give up on them at this point; I would leave in just a few days and didn't want my perscription to get stuck in Pittsburgh because of inept CVS staff.nnCome to find out, they did have my perscription and just did not notify me of it. I never got a phone call, text, or anything. I've never in my life seen so much miscommunication in a pharmacy. People rely on popular pharmacies like CVS to get crucial, sometimes life-sustaining medications to them everyday. It shocks me that some are so horribly unreliable. You guys have got to do better..

Was thinking about transferring here nearer my home. Tried called twice one day and once the day before. Sat on hold without talking to anyone for 6, 4, 4 minutes (off phone timer). Transferred to another CVS because this one doesn't care to answer phone at all.
