I walked in looking for a restored 70s Pioneer and they had exactly what I was looking for. Vince was an incredibly nice guy and was happy to teach me about some things I had questions about. We talked old tube amps and he even gave me some advice for setting everything up. Fantastic experience and I will be more than happy to bring all my components that are in need of service to this business. Their bench fees are more than reasonable and they are very knowledgeable.
This place is such a great resource for Pittsburgh record enthusiasts. I have never known much about turntables or electronics and every time I come in here I’m treated incredibly well, and the cost of everything is so affordable. They are unpretentious, patient while answering all of my questions, excellent in customer service And clearly passionate about what they do. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly.
Galaxie Electronics is wonderful. They repaired my 1970's Philips 212 turntable and I have been playing all my old vinyl ever since. It sounds and operates like it is new. The service was prompt and the cost was very fair. I highly recommend Galaxie!!!
Great small business to support for electronic equipment repairs. I originally purchased my turntable and receiver from them many years ago and they just repaired my other one in a matter of a few days for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!
