Kind, helpful staff. Great kid's section. My 4 year old grandson has been enjoying this library for over 2 years.
I discovered the Monroeville Library not too long ago, due to an unfortunate event. The staff is so kind to their visitors, but also to one another. I haven't come across one person that doesn't go out of their way to be helpful. It has a peaceful feeling and not just because it's a library. Someday soon I hope to visit just for pleasure.

I went to the library to photocopy and print some items. Google states the library is open. The library is not open for business, just for picking up and returning books. There is no staff available.
I love this library. I've been to many in the Allegheny County system and this one trumps them all. It's big without being too big. It's well organized. It has a great selection. It has lots of computers. What was really helpful is a woman who was volunteering and acting as a concierge. But what really set this library apart was it's park like setting and artwork throughout the library. Ample parking is a plus.
