Clearview Stables

We feel SO lucky to have found Clearview Stables in Oakdale for my daughter to take riding lessons. Blaine, and Lizzy are so friendly and very knowledgable, making my daughters lesson benefitial and fun. Blaine is very patient and really took his time with us. They teach everything from arrival to departure. Taking the horse out, grooming, tacking up, everything. Then they learn to take everything off, groom and put the horse back in the stall, teaching respect for the animal and equipment, safety, and responsibility. He explained tasks so she could understand which gave her the confidence to learn the task and to perform it safely. He took all there pressure off which allowed her to learn and have fun. We even got to bring Elvis (The perfect horse for a beginner rider) apples and carrots for after their ride. The location is easy to find as well as convenient. Don't miss out on a visit from the ridiculously friendly barn cat, or Waylon the dog while you are there. Decades of experience and a great atmosphere. It is a great barn and I would recommend it to anyone, no matter what your knowledge or level is. Happy Trails!
