East Allegheny Junior/Senior High School

The high school is the worst school by far including city schools. If I could I would send my child to a city school for a better education, because they have a better curriculum than East Allegheny. No study halls, one teacher for eachsubject, no home economics class, the staff asks parents to be apart of the school activities that have no value to the childs education. The ventilation system doesn't work properly, however they ask students to wear proper clothing as a means of school guidelines? If you want the student body to dress a certain way than they should have proper ventilation and enforce uniforms. I will never understand if the school was in a financial deficit why would allow another district to accompany the school without paying any tides to it? Not to mention it was a district of low income that they involved with our children to whom do not value the district like we (the tax payers of this district) do. Due to this teachers /staff only concern themselves with students to whom they feel would be considered college material? To make up for their grave mistake they enforce parents to pay fines for their child missing x amount of days from school and they have to be from a licensed physician? If that's the case than that leaves me out as a parent with knowledge of the common cold and is not good enough to send my child back with a excuse from home so they consider it UNEXCUSED and will fine a parent for this, even if a parent attends the school with child saying the reason for them coming in late such as over slept, missed school bus etc. it's considered UNEXCUSED? How could a doctor verify that a child that has not attended their office for a common cold uphold THEIR rules of regulation? The high school and Logan middle school are the biggest hypocrites in school district they do NOT care for a proper education for any of these kids.

This is quite possibly the worst high school ever. Actually used to be a good school many many years ago but it has gone down the tubes. The school district keeps getting worse year by year. Truthfully they made this high school even more horrible by letting Duequense merge with them. I've heard nothing but problems and young kids getting killed ever since this happened.
