I'm not impressed. The way the pharmacist talked about my mother not listening to her was inappropriate!! She started making comments about my mom not even knowing who I was! Apparently she thought she talked to my mom about a medicine being on back order and proceeded to tell me she told my mom and my mom didn't listen. How out of line! Even saying, she could tell my mom didn't listen. ???? Are you kidding me??! I dont care if you have a medical degree how about go back to school and learn some professionalism!!
This is a great pharmacy - Audrey is the best!! The staff are happy to help and my meds are always filled on time without me asking. I've had a number of issues and mistakes made by another pharmacy (not affiliated with safeway) in town and the difference between that pharmacy and this one are night and day.nThey also have these handy dandy text alerts to notify you when your meds have been filled and are ready for pickup!
My son has an ear infection and the urgent care electronically sent antibiotics to this pharmacy at 10pm last night, I then called this morning at 10am and the tech answered the phone agitated, I explained what I was looking for and they told me they would need 40 mins... I am fine with that, I ran other errands and showed up 2 hours later and was told they needed 20 more minutes at least ..... the pharmacist told me I should shop. I provided my insurance and was told I was already getting a good price.... my kids are double covered so while it was cheap to begin with with my new insurance it would be 0.00... she then said that would be even longer and I should just shop awhile. I will not be coming back here, I worked at safeway pharmacy's for over 5 years and know how busy and stressful it can get but I also understand that customer service should always be priority and if you make a promise and cant deliver on it then own up to it.... last but not least I am still standing out side the pharmacy waiting with my sick kid.
While they are understaffed due to corporate cutting pharmacies hours everywhere just so they have bigger bonuses they try the best they can between rude self entitled people (usually from people who are nurses and feel they should be treated like royalty and get to move to the top of priorities even over cancer patients and small children getting antibiotics,...they still on. Even after being cused at and tells being told by customers how to do the job. Sorry but customers do not 1/8 of what it takes. It is not as simple as getting prescription and slipping a label on it. They are non stop on the phone with insurance companies trying to help you the spoiled customer a paid claim on the prescription. Customers really do need to take more responsibility for their own medication. It is not the doctor or pharmacy's fault you took the last tablet that day and need it refilled asapnDid you not see a week before you were running g low. Did you happen to think there may be other reasons they cannot put yours first? They get prescriptions called, left as messages, faxed in, mailed in Electronically sent and hand delivered. All while answering phones, calling doctor offices to verify such high dosages, clarify what drug is wanted calls from other pharmacies checking stock And taking calls from customers. Answering questions on where non pharmacy items are located in the store because self entitled feel they can interrupt them while they are with a patient. So quit complaining about wait times (yes it does take time for an electric scripts to arrive in the pharmacy system until you walk in their shoes. No lunch, no breaks, barely any time to go to the bathroom.
Worst customer service ever. They'll ignore you until they are ready to talk to you and won't even acknowledge that you are standing there. Unfriendly when you get to the counter. Feels like they just want you to leave as soon as possible rather than actually help you.
