This is a church that cares about people. Pastor Dave is an amazing guy, and when he says Come As You Are, he means it.nnI've read some of the negative reviews, and I don't think those people came to this church. I've been going here since 2012, and this isn't a political church, or a charismatic church. Some people in the church have Pentecostal origins, but the church doesn't push people to speak in Tongues, or even talk about it. They don't spend 15 minutes asking for a 15% tithe, during a standard point in the service, they talk about the 10% tithe listed in the Bible, then they move on to the teaching. They do have some classes that have books that can cost a bit, but those are special classes, not the standard. If they think somebody really needs a class, sometimes they will even provide the books free of charge.nnRecently the church had a facelift, and added handicap parking with built in ramps for easy access to the church. They also have an elevator inside for handicap access to the classrooms and offices on the second floor.nnDue to Covid-19, the church currently has an outdoor drive-in service on Saturday night at 6pm and Sunday morning at 10:15am. They also have small indoor services at 9am and 11:30am. They have an indoor youth service for Jr.High and High school students during the 10:15 service.

I was in one of the lowest points of my life and reached out for help from their small groups and no one ever contacted me. I was told I was going to be contacted and two weeks went by and nothing. I had a great awakening from being treated this way. We fluently attended this church since we moved here for almost 1yr and a half. We thought God was calling us to be part of this community. However there are false prophets out there who use God's name for personal gain. I will NEVER loose my faith in Christ but if you're reading this I suggest you find a community that in reality wants to invest in you and making you a better person instead of their own financial gain. You learn from your mistakes and boy did I learn from this.

Very friendly pastors & people.They were very welcoming. I just moved from San Diego and. Immediately made sure I got connected with others...Worship very nice I felt the presence of God..Good location to me its centrally located with plenty of parking...God is good!!!!

This church is exactly what they claim to be. We feel at home here, more so then at any church we’ve attended. Pastor Dave is a special leader, we feel blessed to have stumbled on capital. They really have everything you could be looking for. It’s definitely on the attendee if they choose not to make the best of what they have to offer.

Honestly I'd rather go to a church out of town, thankfully since covid that's now possible. They aren't very accepting or inviting here if you want to join any ministry. So since I can't serve, why not go where they have best preaching regardless of distance. Still though Pastor Dave's preaching is good enough to listen to as a secondary if you want and have time for extra service, just watch online avoid the hassel of the drive.
