Club Cafe

Went to experience the city of sun concert and was a great atmosphere. Friendly staff, accommodating, lots of open space for people who wanted to dance. The tables were first come first serve basis. The place did check for ID (so might be strictly enforced even to enter). Clean rest rooms, nice choice of beers, amazing music :)

I have a hard time giving Club Cafe five stars, even though I want to, because the place is so small and, apparently after a remodel (it's been a few years since the last time we went) even the few tables in the center of the floor were gone. This puts a severe limit on seating, although we had the good fortune to have arrived for our show in enough time to have captured the last two free seats.nnThat said, sitting at the bar has its pluses....it's a lot easier to get the bartender's attention, and there's a place to hold one's drink and meal. Speaking of which. My wife had the apple fennel flatbread, and I opted for the pot roaster. Both were incredible!

Drove from Niagara Falls, Canada to Pittsburgh to see a very good friend's band play at the Club Cafe with my son and wife. When we went in to soundcheck we were told my 15 year old could not stay....that it was 21+. My son has seen many shows with me in the US where it was 21+ but because he was accompanied by an adult he was allowed in. The lady/manager at the door did not offer any options, did show any remorse or concern that we just drove 4 hours, she simply said NO. The fact that she did not even care speaks volumes. Thanks for your awesome customer service!

The bartenders were terrible. They were not friendly. Clearly not used to the number of people that showed up. They ran out of glasses and were not sanitizing the used glasses before reusing them. Management claimed there were no ticket purchases at the door. I know people that bought their tickets at the door. So they are ripping off their acts. The band also had items taken. I would highly recommend against performing at or going to this establishment.
