Yesterday when my mail came, I had a certified letter to sign for. The front door was open and the mailman never came to the door. He put my mail in the mailbox with a notice that said he could not deliver the certified letter because no one was available at home to sign for it. The notice said that I could either reschedule a delivery, or pick it up at the post office today. I chose option 2....nFast forward to today, I go to the post office to pick up my letter. I wait in line and get to the front counter and give her the notice. She looks at it and mumbles something to herself and goes to look in the back. 15 minutes later, she comes out without my letter saying that she will take my phone number because it isn’t there. My “regular post man” called off today and there is another filling in for him and the fill-in person must have it on the truck for delivery, but someone will call me. I rush home to try to beat the mailman there and wait hours for my mail to show up. Guess what?! The mailman doesn’t have it on his truck. Try to call the post office because no one ever called me like they said they would. Can’t speak to anyone. Had to leave a message on the 1-800 number and it says someone will call me back in 1+ hours. Still waiting...

This place is unbelievable. Mail carriers are horrible and can’t even read numbers/ believe they are intoxicated. Don’t try calling the phone number, it doesn’t actually work for the pleasant hills office/ they never answer it, which I think should be illegal.

For the most part, I like the employees and appreciate everything they are doing during this crazy time. This location has been 24hr self service for as long as I can remember. However, this past Saturday around 5pm, I walked about 15-20 min to drop off my package in the big mail box but the inside doors were locked. Again, this evening (Monday), I went to the post office at 10pm. The outside doors are open, but the second set of doors are locked. I checked online and cannot find anywhere showing that this location has changed self service hrs. And, why are the first set of doors unlocked but the second set of doors locked???

Visited the Pleasant Hills location on Sunday, 12/22/19. Thank goodness it was open! The Postal Clerk was very pleasant and helpful. Always have a good experience here. This is where I got my Passport previously as well. I ship to AK, TX and NY regularly. Have never had a problem with USPS. Flat rate boxes save the day, and money! Merry Christmas to all.
