I am not sure when going to the library as an adult to talk and yell obscenities on your cell phone is appropriate. I thought a library was supposed to be a quiet place to read and/or utilize a computer. Why is there no access to a quiet job search area. Why do I have to drive to the main library, the Southside branch, or the Carrick branch and pay for parking when this branch is right in my neighborhood?
This is a great library for kids. It's also nice to order materials from other Carnegie libraries and be able to pick them up right here. But the library provides a lot of summer reading activities which is nice with school about to end. Very family friendly atmosphere.
Support this beautiful new library!
The staff are indeed friendly but this library is not conducive to adults or anyone interested in reading. The library has become a youth center with many children running around And the volume of voices has no restrictions. Trying to do anything requiring concentration is impossible.
