I had a stroke about 9 years ago, and take a medication that alleviates my dizziness. When I called the pharmacy this morning regarding that prescription I was told that it wasn’t in the system. Rod Mell called my doctors office, and asked them to send another copy of the drug electronically. I didn’t think that the prescription would be ready today, but not only did he fill my prescription immediately...he dropped it off at my house on his way home.nnI can’t say enough about the sensitivity and compassion of the pharmacy staff at this Giant Eagle. From the care and concern that they showed me today...to the empathy and understanding that I receive from the entire staff each time I go...this is a group of men and women who go above and beyond the call of duty for their customers.nnI want to say thank you to the entire pharmacy staff at Giant Eagle McKees Rocks, and a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Rod Mell for delivering my prescription today. They are terrible every month its something new they can't fill my script or i can't get a hold of anyone there phone is always busy and they act like it's my fault lol whatever I'm over them...

This place is garbage. Some of the workers always seem annoyed or irritated when they have to help a customer. A lot of laziness and very bad management. There’s only two college aged girls that work there who are very nice and helpful but other than that the place is trash. Needs a new manager!

I thought I already left this review so I will do it again I needed a prescription filled for zofran. I went to Rite Aid 1st unfortunately. I was told it would be $362 for 10 tablets and that just blew my mind that it was at expensive because I do not have health care being that I am a small business owner. I even use a discount prescription card. So I left there and decided to go where I should have went in the 1st place. The giant Eagle pharmacy in McKees Rocks. They were very polite and professional. Took my prescription and not even 10 minutes later told me it was only going to be $7. I will never go to any other pharmacy again. As a small business owner that helped me out so much especially because I cannot take off of work and I needed the zofran for my upset stomach. Zach and his team or amazing every time I go in there now.

Smh.nnStarted using a drive thru pharmacy because of limited mobility in my old age.nnNeeded some Clariton D that has to be purchased at the pharmacy. They refused to sell it to me at the window saying i had to come in to the counter because the state required ID.nnBut, they would fill a prescription of oxy for me without having to show any ID.nnImho just doesn't pass the common sense test.
