The front office staff and help is wonderful. They will work with your specific needs. IMO: It really is the best private school in the area.

Loved the school environment for the two years my son went there. But don't ever fall into financial distress. Don't get divorced, lose your job, car, or have sickness.nnThe school office will say it could be paid when funds are available. They say they'll work with you. But when that time comes ... ECS employs a collections agency that will tack on double the amount (stating it's for $.35 letter and them making 1 phone call). I'd be willing to pay fully the tuition amount only to ECS directly, but collection agencies are not Christian nor will a penny from them go to benefit ECS. Which is too bad because I did like the school, just not their strong arm unchristian like collection company they employ. Yes it took me years longer than I wanted, but living off of $20k for 3 years didn't allow much in the way of extras being paid, and I transferred my son to public to not keep incurring a debt like I did for the last half of a year where I fell on triple bad luck.nnFor the ECC community, especially in the FPU classes: take note.... They won't work with you. They force collections.nnAlso your donations benefiting the school really don't didn't benefit on kids in financial distress below poverty.

We have been at ECS for 6 years (2 children). The teachers are amazing -- truly caring and who come up with fun ways to teach and engage the kids. Our children have grown spiritually, emotionally and academically. The school offers many programs to add to the educational experience, including foreign language, orchestra, band, chess, sports and an outstanding after school arts program. There are also annual family oriented events, including the Fall Festival, Father/Daughter Dance and Fine Arts Festival.

It was good when my kids attended preschool there. We went all the way from preschool up to 3rd grade. We spent a total of 5 years there. The school as changed. It is not what it used to be. I had to pull my kids mid year for many reasons. I would NOT recommend this school to anyone. Ask how many teachers quite? Ask how many kids were pulled in the last 2 years? You will get your answers. They will ask me to remove this because they asked my last review. I removed it. Because when I wrote it I was deeply hurt. I wanted to take a few weeks to heal to see if I felt the same way. I do. My son qualified for an IEP. This school has no resources what so ever to accomidate his needs. Olympia school district offered limited services because we choose a private school. No parent should ever have to choose between a Christian education and a public education based on lack of educational services. Every student in every school should have the same access to educational services. This isn't the case at Evergreen Christian School and it isn't the case working with Olympia School District.
