Pittsburgh Science & Technology Academy

Well you see it’s a great school that I am going to currently, and most of the teachers are really nice and the curriculum is very focused and is made to make us smarter. Some of my problems are the ways the district are treating the staff, seriously! Pay your teachers more so they can afford new things for the classrooms! Also the food is terrible fix that too. Art and music are great though.

I answered a question incorrectly once in 8th grade, and my science teacher told me in a firm, deep voice to lay down on my back on the cold, multicolored ground and close my eyes. as my vision became darker and i lied in anticipation of the unknown event about to transpire, my teacher jumps high into the air, bending his knees, and stomping onto my ribcage with the force of a 200lb + man. never missed a question since. 5/5

It certainly has its pros and cons.nnPros:nGood educationnLots of diversitynEasy to make friendsnLaptopsnGood teachersnnCons:nBullyingnSome teachers pick favoritesnEven though there are laptops, some teachers refuse to allow you to use it at the threat of confiscating it.nVery low tolerance and repercussions for very minor infractions.

The teachers are really nice and supportive. And I have really enjoyed my time here.
