I love this school ! Couldn't of picked a better school for my son! They are organized and always there to meet with me when I need to speak with a teacher!
This school is Horrible, The staff disrespectful and rude they don’t care about the students, They are a bunch of Unprofessional group of people ever. This was a Big Mistake putting my son in this school. It’s a very small space and the kids are on top of each other. Absolutely a big mistake!
Urban Academy of Greater Pittsburgh CS plays by their own set of rules. Communication issues with staff and admin were horrible.nThough, my daughters kindergarten year, was great, the teacher and co-teacher were caring and built a great foundation.nIn 1st grade it was destroyed by a teacher that is no longer there and a co-teacher..., during the 1st parent teacher conference the CEO joined but sat with his feet kicked up and was on his phone the entire time.nWhen I decided it was time to leave, there was a Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act violation and this was a private meeting with the CEO K. Chase Patterson and right after that, UA's attitude changed and put my daughter and I through a difficult time.nRemoving my daughter from UA was the best decision made for her. She is thriving socially at her new school which is a Public School. Everyone around her can see an overall change in her wellbeing. Academically she has extremely improved, she plays a sport, and she wakes up wanting to go to school.nIf there are any questions, please inquire via email.
The teachers act nice to parents but disrespect the kids
E Properties and Developement and Emeka Onwugbenu hired small local companies to work on this school while being built. Many of the companies have gone unpaid to this day.
