Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - East Liberty

I love this branch. All of the librarians are helpful, courteous and friendly. The book exchange between all of the Carnegie branches make it convenient to request a book or a movie for pick up, so it really doesn’t matter what is at each specific branch.nnThe librarians, and even the guard, can give recommendations that are very thoughtful if you need any guidance. This branch has a real community feel to it that makes everyone feel welcome.nnRegarding parking, even the main branch has no free parking.

So much diversity, free classes, so much more than a library. Volunteer if can PEACE ON EARTH GOODWILL TOWARDS MAN AND OUR UNIVERSE!

I like the building which is new and clean. Staff are very polite and helpful. Wish there were better parking options.

Very polite staff. Only down side is the teen area. Very noisy, language not always acceptable. I know it is a good spot to keep teens safe, however I am just used to quiet spaces.

Peaceful, place to be, never to crowded, when I visit just down side is the parking. This library is the first that I ever been where they don't have a parking lot only one they have you gotta pay for which is beyond ridiculous. If anything build the library somewhere else where they have enough room so they'll be able to support an parking lot. If you have an hard time to walk there's no point parking closer in the lot that's provided unless you wanna pay for.
