Mik Pappas

I was in front of Honorable Pappas for an unpaid fine that ultimately ended up with a warrant for my arrest! It was from so many years ago, I didn’t even kno it existed. Down in city court he lowered the fine, gave me AMPLE time to pay, and revoked my warrant! A week later I went to his office to pay in full. He even remembered who I was and my situation! Alllll the people he see on a daily basis and he remembers cases, and people’s faces. He is the most kind and understanding judge I’ve ever stood in front of! Very respectful and fair. He listens carefully to the uniqueness of each case. (And Iv had my fair share of cases)! I hope he continues to do the GREAT work that he’s doing and stays in the morning side area. That’s not even my magistrates office!!! But he’s doing a DAMN GOOD JOB! Way to go judge pappas!!!

As I social worker, I was there for work. I watched him diligently go over the details of the case while treating people with dignity & respect. He held the landlord & tenant responsible for their part but showed compassion when needed. A nice thing to watch in a world so cold.

He is a strong proponent for what he believes in, for that I admire him, however, he does not interpret the law as written. Rather, he legislates from the bench pushing his social agendas without regard to impartiality, the truth, and most especially the law. His legal rulings are deleterious to our Constitution and freedoms.

An avowed socialist, with the upmost respect given to the people.
