Dragged two reluctant kids for their flu shots. And no, I was not just doing it for the 10% coupon. Trevor helped us. Gentle giant of a man. He reassured the kids and with the added promise of a Burger King foray, the process went smoothly. Hopefully, they will prevent the spread of flu and protect the vulnerable.

The person I talked to on the phone today was very kind, so I was glad for that. However, 2 days ago when I called to have an Rx transferred from a different Safeway, the person on the phone said it would be ready the next day. I never got a call, so I waited a day because she had said they’d have to order it. I called today to check on the status and apparently the person I spoke to on the phone didn’t actually do anything with the Rx. She had said “ok we’ll get that ordered and you should be able to pick it up tomorrow.” Obviously the person I talked to today isn’t responsible. But I am now gonna have to wait till next Tuesday to get my Rx because the person I originally spoke with on Wednesday literally just didn’t do anything with the order. I’m just glad this is a dermatology topical and not one of my other medications which would cause a withdrawal if I did not get them in time. This is really unprofessional and I hate to complain, but I don’t see how I can make a call, have someone say they will do an order, and then come to find out from another person working there that the order wasn’t even worked on. I’m just glad I called to check so they’d have it by Tuesday!

I have had good experiences and bad experiences. There is one person there that is incredibly rude and incredibly mean but the others are awesome. I don't know her name she has long dark hair she's wonderful she's always friendly to me. The pharmacist have been amazing as well very knowledgeable and very helpful

I can't believe the negative reviews here. I have used the Tumwater Safeway for 20 years and I am completely satisfied with their friendly, efficient, and professional service. I have complicated health issues that require the help of really good pharmacists and they have never let me down. They also handle medications for my dog and they are able to do so at a much lower cost than my vet or other pharmacies that I have checked. I give them 5 stars with no reservations.
