This place was amazing! You can just feel the love and dedication that all of the workers/caretakers/tour guides, have for these rescue horses…nWe were there on an extremely hot day, and they shortened our ride from 2 hours, to 1.5 for the safety of the horses, as well as the riders.nThe Battlefield Tour was phenomenal! And we definitely got our money’s worth in the time we had!nWe will be returning either in October, or early next year with friends of ours.nI would definitely give it 10 stars if I could!

A bucket list I have fulfilled in my life time. The staff was very accommodating. The horses very well behaved. The knowledge of the battlefield. Yes I highly recommend..... Do not forget these horses are rescues... which makes this ride even more special.

Today I rode a horse (for the first time) named Hank. He was the sweetest boy. He was gentle with me and eased my nerves. The guides and Terry were absolutely astonishing. It was a perfect experience and I’d give it a million stars if I could. All of the horses were so well behaved and all super healthy and happy. These humans have big hearts and not to mention how knowledgeable they are about the history surrounding the battlefields. Blown away, and I will most definitely be back!!!!

I did the other game in town the day before, hickory hollow is believe it’s called. They use an earbud and give you dialogue throughout. This was more intimate, we rode to a site and she painted a picture. Both are great for different reasons, but if I brought my mom I would do NRS. My camp was also a stone throw from the horses! Loved the staff, horses, ride and history lesson. Thank you!

What an amazing time! The ride itself so so beautiful and our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the battle at Gettysburg. It was a very personal tour. Most tours give you headsets and try to tell you about the battle while riding and shouting directions at the horses while you are trying to hear the guide. Not this tour! They have it down to a science. You ride leisurely through the trails and you stop at specific locations where the guide will then give you some history and tell about the battle, no head phones. They talk to you directly. It is nice because you can ride without being distracted and when you stop at the sites you can really focus on the story of the battle. Aside from being knowledgeable, the guide and staff were so friendly and accommodating. I felt like family immediately. And the horses are so sweet, loving and well behaved. This is the horse guided tour to take if you go to Gettysburg or even if you just want to go for a nice trail ride you must book with them. It is an amazing experience. And best of all it is for a great cause. They rescue abused and neglected horses and nurse them back to health and give them a good home. So the proceeds from the tour goes right back into the rescue funds. Explore Gettysburg while saving a horse. I give this tour 10 stars! Love you TEDDY BEAR
