Slickrock Adventures

My family and I went to Slickrock Adventures Long Cay Resort in Belize, and it was one of our favorite vacations ever. Long Cay is a pristine private island about 1/2 mile long surrounded by gorgeous water - with both flat water and waves. The family was able to snorkel, sea kayak, surf kayak, windsurf and more - all included in the price of the week. The snorkeling is phenomenal, and the sea kayaking-to-snorkel is super fun. There was also scuba diving and kite surfing for an additional charge. You can be as active or as The sports equipment is awesome, and the guiding was very professional. The food was good and quite healthy. We were there over spring break, so there were other families with kids around the same age as my kids. We stayed in rustic, but clean cabins with clean shared compostable bathrooms and shared warm showers. The only negative for me is having to stay two nights in Belize City, which is not very nice. But we did make the most of it by visiting the wildlife preserve, which my kids loved.
