Western River Expeditions - Moab

Had a great time with Western River Expeditions! We did the Southwest sampler in Moab Utah which gave us an arches tour, hummer tour, & white water rafting with 1 night camping, it was the perfect package for us! All of the guides were friendly & professional! I really have to give a huge shout out to our river guides Maddie, Hannah, Liam, & Spencer. They were all super sweet, attentive, and made us feel safe being out on the river. The hummer tour was so fun & exciting not a dull moment on that cruise through Hell's Revenge. Hotel accommodations included in this package at the Springhill Marriot were great! The room was nice, spacious, & has an amazing pool area. I highly recommend Western River and this package, great to do with the family or couples and it is affordable. The only thing I would suggest to Western River is to have a more accurate & detailed itinerary for your clients. We experienced confusion with the pick up times for example itinerary said arches tour was between 7am-7:15am however it was actually 7:30am pick up. We were also confused on the details of hiking etc. The entire time we thought we had to hike to the river for rafting but no we got dropped off at the river so we weren't sure how prepared we needed to be. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our experience! Thank you!

Our canyoneering/rappelling guided adventure with Molly and Preston was AMAZING! With these expert guides, my 4 daughters and I hiked and rappelled down cliffs and canyons that we otherwise would never get to experience. Molly and Preston helped us face our fears and were so patient and kind with our youngest daughters especially. The views were gorgeous from huge peaks to canyon floors to fresh water springs. Thank you for a life-changing family bonding experience!

We just returned from the 5-Day Desolation Canyon raft trip. OUTSTANDING! Great people. The guides were knowledgable, professional and so much fun. Thanks to Hailee, Ann, Jacob and Em. The food was great. The equipment was high quality. Even in lower water the rapids were fun. We saw some amazing wildlife - wild horses, a bear, a herd of Big Horn Sheep, water fowl and more. We loved meeting new friends and I highly recommend this trip.

The 4-day Cataract Canyon whitewater rafting trip in Utah is all-inclusive outdoor adventure in a beautiful place. The guides were professional, personable, knowledgeable and funny. The food was awesome! If you like being “unplugged” and roughing it for a few days, this adventure is for you—and an experience of a lifetime you will never forget!

This was our second trip with Western River (Grand Canyon and Cataract Canyon). Can’t wait to do a third. The guides were fantastic. The education about the geology, and history is fascinating, and of course the river and scenery will never disappoint. Best family vacation you could ask for. Totally unplugged safe, and adventurous at the same time. The canyon sets the background. The guides and food seal the deal.
