Desert Highlights is incredible! We had two wonderful climbs with Herb - after one climb with him, we knew we wanted to climb with him again. He's so knowledgeable about climbing and the region in general - we learned so much during our trips. He helped us sharpen our climbing skills, gave us confidence in our skills and helped create an amazing life experience. Melisa was also fantastic, helping us plan both of our climbs and giving us all the information we needed.

My wife and I booked a private tour as part of our 20th Anniversary. We had the fortune of having Jake as our guide for the Medieval Chamber tour and it was more than we expected. Jake is friendly, knowledgable and an excellent guide. He explained every detail and demonstrated how the rigging and knots were used. For first timers such as my wife and I, it was the perfect way to put any nerves at ease allowing us to enjoy the tour to its fullest. Thank you, Jake, for making our first canyonerring (an 20th Anniversary) such a wonderful and memorable event.
My wife and I did the granary tour which was beautiful and awesome. My wife is scared of heights and our guide Jake calmly and encouragingly talked her through the tough spots (I could have said the exact same things to her and it wouldn't have helped at all.....but that's not the point). Jake was a great guide who taught us some of the history and ecology of the area throughout the day. We also got to know Jake a little and he is a very nice young man.
We had a great time with Desert Highlights. Kai was our guide, and she was great with our 9, and 12 year old. Touring slot canyons, and getting to rappel, it was awesome. We will be back.
Awesome crew with some of the friendliest guides you could hope to meet. Super knowledgeable staff that is always willing to help out or answer any questions you might have. Fully recommend the Highlights fam!
