There is something quite quaint about the local Grocer. There is less choice which leads to happiness, if Barry Schwarz on TED is to be believed. It seems to be true, everybody is happy at Spud's. None of the harried shopping stress seen at (enter a store that will complete the alliteration, here.)
I Love Spud's! Small and local, with high quality produce and local goodies. We should shop small businesses whenever possible. And let's not vote to raise taxes on our small businesses :)
I love this little market. Everything is locally sourced and they have their own brand. Some things can be expensive but then again select produce is cheaper than at grocery stores. I like to pop in for their cookies, bread, and produce specials (usually advertised on a sandwich board outside).
Great customer serviIce! I went in for a box of green beans for canning and I was not disappointed. Also had ice cream from my favorite ice cream shop from Ellensburg WA!
