They have not taken the outgoing mail for at least 3 weeks since the first letter I dropped off. I had to stop into the post office to ask about it. They called the other post office who is responsible for my street and a carrier named JR handles my mail. I left my name and number for the guy at the post office to call me back but I still haven’t gotten a call. This postal service is VERY OUT OF TOUCH with operations and doing their jobs. I’m baffled as to why the mail isn’t being checked. Who is the manager? This is very concerning because I had a very important document that needed to be sent. This is awful.

I'm 65 years old and have lived in several states throughout the US...PA, CO, FL, OH, WV and have received postal service from no fewer than a dozen different post offices throughout my adult life. Hanover is without question, the absolute worst I have encountered. To be fair, I am not familiar with any individual location's internal operations; however I think it is safe to assume that all branches must conform and operate under the same postal regulations. Therefore, I am befuddled as to how Hanover's branch is exponentially worse than any other I have experienced. It makes sense to me that the problem must be local management. I would be interested and certainly open to hearing from the branch Post Master for whom I have a list of questions with regard to local operations. I hope to hear from you.

Ordered some extremely valuable collectibles, an empty OPENED poster tube was delivered to my house. When I visited and asked them if they could look for my items I was told they weren’t there, the staff didn’t even leave the desk to bother to look! When I asked about an insurance check (my items were priced at $170 of merchandise lost.) they said the most they could give me was $25, which I never received a check for. Was told there was no possible way someone could have stolen my items, even though the tube was completely sealed (the seller sent me pictures of the package before she sent it as proof. Absolutely garbage customer service on the regular, everyone who works here acts like they hate their life and don’t bother to be even mildly polite.

How is it this post office gets junk mail here to ad nauseum, but can't get a magazine or bill delivered at all or to the right address!! The USPS sends a photo of mail scanned each day but the important pieces either get delayed for days or never shows up. Yet there's always a handful of the junk mail. Is it being stollen? Is it being trashed? How does this happen in a small town? Covid is the big excuse but I'm not buying it. It's been this way for years!
