The inability to be open on the weekends or even budge an inch to help get vital medicines to students who need it is horrible. If you are given a prescription on Friday god forbid you can’t pick it up before 5, then they strand you without your antibiotics for the next three days and your condition just gets worse. Horrible idea to close throughout the entire weekend

Really disappointing experience. I called days I’m advance about my prescription and when I went to pick it up the doors were just closed and the phones were off despite google listing them as open for operation from 9-4. I commuted all the way across town trying to pick up an important prescription before working and instead wasted my time, was late to work and now have to wait 4 more days to get a needed medication I am currently lacking. Staff is incompetent and very unprofessional

If you can, get your prescriptions from ANY OTHER PHARMACY in Boulder, ESPECIALLY if you rely on a daily medication! Be careful. If you rely on having a prescription that has tight refill procedures, your health will be compromised if you chose to go here. It doesn’t matter if you call ahead, it doesn’t matter if they say it’s ready for pick up, you will end up waiting at least 30 or 40 minutes while you watch the staff standing around talking, eating, and playing patty cake (not an exaggeration, something I watched today).

Exceptional staff of professionals and student workers in a system, that, let's be honest, is not ideal. Having students who are pursuing dreams of medical work later in life get a taste of the real deal will have it's drawbacks, however, most of the flaws (I.E. - insurance issues) are not based upon who is doing the work, rather than the system. Which you will have at any pharmacy, and sure the straitlaced professionalism might not be a prevalent as one would get at another pharmacy. However scripts are filled in a timely manner, and you know exactly what you have to pay (I.E. - they check your insurance before filling scripts, shocking, but surprisingly this does not happen else-ware) so not surprises happen at a later date. Being sick sucks, medical care is not what it used to be, but at least this pharmacy provides opportunities to the students of CU for life learning. That easily makes up for the flaws.

Under renovation right now, and in tight quarters, this pharmacy is making the best of their situation. Students try to fix difficult insurance problems, and regularly have to order in prescriptions because of the small size of the pharmacy. Overall staff is really nice and helpful and always try and fix your problems.
