Horrible, plan review requires so many mundane details that are not relevant to building codes, and wouldn't have any effect on their decisions, it's just silly. Most contractors I know don't pull permits here because they are so ridiculous in what they require for extremely simple projects, they don't understand basic/standard building methods, or use common sense. We pull permits in 30 cities/counties and Boulder is 5 times worse than any other...
I have always received excellent, very responsive, and helpful services from the Building Division. I could not be more pleased with the services they provide!
