Value Village

At opening today on October 23 2020, I walked in the door and am greeted friendly by the lady holding the door open and counting people. My son and I walk inside and the older lady cleaning the carts this morning rudely and aggressively asked me how old my son is. And I asked excuse me? She responded with is he two or three? I replied three. Which she then tells me he must wear a mask or we can’t shop here. I told her he won’t wear one and she told me then we have to shop someplace else. I then told her that it’s mandated everywhere else that over the age of five is required to wear a mask, and even so if he’s got a medical condition, which you’re not allowed to ask if he does or doesn’t, he wouldn’t be wearing a mask either. So I turned around to walk out and as I’m walking out she starts yelling at me that its management rules. This is poor behavior and customer service. If this is your stores regulation fine but post it somewhere and handle it better, I have a friend who went in with her kids and had the same exact experience with the same older women. I was looking for a comfortable shopping experience and all I got was a very rude and demanding associate upon entering the store. I was so embarrassed and angry walking out of Value Village. I’m very very disappointed as I’ve shopped here for years but definitely won’t be anymore. If I were you I’d opt to shop elsewhere too.

They have clothes that are both cute and affordable. The customer service is wonderful as well.

I visit here often...addicted to vintage jewelry & can usually find something to make me spend $$. Staff is always very friendly & helpful. Once in awhile run into another shopper who is a jerk but that's not Value Village's fault. I enjoy visiting!

So glad they are open again! The carts were sanitized and social distancing was used. Good selection of plus sized clothes. Employees were helpful and store was clean / maintained.
