I wanted to let potential customers know that A-1 remedied my complaint of being charged a trip charge without my knowledge prior to them arriving. They have refunded the trip charge and we have always been pleased with their work. I would have give them 5 stars if they has just corrected the issue when I called prior to posting any reviews.

We have hired A-1 to sweep out wood stove chimney for the last two years. This year was their third visit to our home. In the past their service has cost between $159-$179. This year we learned they added a $100 trip charge to their $179 service fee!!!! REALLY! Better yet they never disclosed this when they called three times to reschedule our appointment. Needless to say we will no longer be using them due to this seemingly dishonest business practice! You only get doop us once!!

Tyler came by to clean the chimney and he was very professional, courteous, informative and polite. He answered all my questions and gave me a detailed report of what he inspected on a unit I was not familiar with. I would highly recommend A1 to anyone looking to use their services.

A-1 did very thorough work and are very patient and friendly. The project was quite complicated due to a very old chimney on a 110 year farmhouse but they put in the extra time and effort to make it happen. I couldn't be happier, and would confidently refer them to anyone needing this service!!!
