The appointment system worked pretty well and everyone was courteous. That said, I was charged a $100 late fee for registration b/c I moved to CO in February and waited until October to register. I had called Jefferson County in March and was told that offices were closed b/c of COVID and that I should wait until my current out-of-state registration expires before registering in CO. I'm at fault for not knowing the actual registration requirements of within 90-days, but it's really frustrating that the county would provide that advice and then charge a $100 late fee.

I waited on hold for over an hour. Jolene, Joley, whatever her name is, was absolutely awful. I just bought a new car and need to register / get plates. She kept talking over me when I was asking questions and treated me like garbage. HUNG UP ON ME after I waited for over an hour. Our dialogue lasted maybe 15 seconds. What an absolutely horrible customer service experience. This woman should be fired ASAP. I still have no answers and don’t know how I’m supposed to get my car registered and plated. Now I have to wait another hour or more to speak with another “DMV Representative”. Screw you Jeffco DMV, what a sh#t show!

Everything's by appointment only you have to make a phone call first for appointment then you are come over of course if you don't have covid-19. Have to wear a mask all the time right now

This place is for driver's license and the like. It is not for license plates. I have always had fairly good service here with reasonable wait times. They are organized and kind. I go out of my way to go to this office to get this stuff done.
