With the job that pre-trial service must provide in order for the majority of us to be out on bond. Comes a lot of pre conceived opinions and many times unfair judgements. Don't get me wrong every Establishment has a bad ud83cudf4f or two but how many of us have looked at are selves first and asked what could I have done better?nHaving an extensive past it would be easy for me to get on that band wagon, knowing there are many stories showing the system is brutal. But being a man of christ, and a responsible father doesn't allow me to do so anymore.nWith that being said I am astounded and moved by not only my current case worker (Nicole Nunez), but also my case worker prior to her Jordan. Words cannot express how good it feels to be treated like a person. That's important when your an ex-fellon 4 times over and all your past says is that you are incapable of change. DONT GET ME WRONG both these ladies had to have that talk with me, but it wasn't that I'm in power, don't want to here excuses, next I'm revoking! It was you need to fix this, I want u to be compliant, and u need to show the courts u can do that. But more importantly people what more could u ask for? My first case worker wasn't the best experience, then I got Jordan, and I actually was upset when she left me fearing the worse might happen I would be treated like a number and placed with a case worker that has to many to deal with and rather than have that talk finds it easier to revoke. Then I got Nicole, wow! Professional, Stern, but genuinely I feel is going have that talk, whether your messing up or not, before u hit that brick ud83euddf1. So I have to give well deserved credit where it is absolutely deserved. For what it's worth, and whether I succeed or not.nnTHANK U!

The people who work here aren't bad at all. I have never had an experience with them that's left me upset or angry. It's hard to be in the position where one must go see them but it likely one has put themselves in it. I personally am sad and scared that I am required to be on pre trial supervision. I didn't want this in my life but it's too late.

This program is federally funded and it is a complete joke it would be better to spend the money on my newer than pretrial services program I can ever get a hold of my case manager. Even when asked to leave a message as a check in the voicemail lead you to a voice prompting you to call the number that you just called. There’s no one in the office on Fridays they get long weekends every week must be nice. I happen to have done some research on the state statute which allows their program to exist this statue reads “this program is to be the least restrictive To the clients life but with an ultimate goal of ensuring the accused shows up to court”. It’s a federal revised statute it’s in the Constitution it says they should have to report annually the results of how well their program has served the people that it in intended to help. I can’t imagine that there are many success stories here. Everyone I’ve ever spoken to is been arrested loss of jobs cars kids their life has been ruined by pretrial services I’m not sure in what country we are sometimes I thought we were both presume Dennis until guilty so what’s with the pre-pre-probation? On top of that you can’t answer your phone call he can’t respond to an email you? Your voicemail system is even fly. But you do know how to issue a warrant for some reason rest causing them more strife more homelessness more addiction issues more suicide. Ultimately the government and everyone is employed through it is a civil servant to some degree or another. Probation officers preacher service managers and supervisors judges lawyers police officers everyone is post to be serving the public not creating public crisis. Anyone else with a similar experience? We should do it

I have not been in the system in years . As Americans , a veteran , this is a constitutional nightmare . As others have reviewed pretrial services im not the only one. When you enter the court theres a full life size statue of Thomas Jefferson , the treatment , the arrogance, all with no regard for anything but paying them . The total disregard for our constitutional rights, Jefferson would be rolling in his grave. We been asleep to let these statues pass. I love America and as our forefathers fought for liberty i will not be afraid of the threats and jail. Before i even been to trial. I feel im in a foreign dictatorship , people lets wake up and speak up and fight for our right's.nUntil due process of law we deserve to be treated not like criminals by case workers who lack skills to be effective in social , individual , situations there clients are having. As Americans and people who died for this country and liberty , it is time to question., talk, contact congressmen , assemble and never let this happen again. Thats the broard review, the details in my case clearly show the arrogance and difficulty that this program inflicts ,when there are options that both could beneifit from. Its been a nightmare and a eye opener.
