Sexist, non-responsive and only willing to enforce code on their terms. Avoid answering direct questions and requests for documents and just overall dishonest. Good luck getting a phone call back unless you call everyday multiple times. This entire department is a poor representation for Jefferson County.

We recently had a new house built in Jeffco, and the planning and zoning folks were extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Same with the building dept. I am also a real-estate investor, and have found them to be the same when it comes to any questions on a property I am considering.
