Safeway Pharmacy

This has been the worst pharmacy ever. The first trip the girl couldn’t get my insurance correct and I had to pay for the medication... same first trip I asked pharmacist ( who has zero personality) to order a different size pill, which was what my pharmacy transferred to them, second trip it took about 20 minutes for them to figure out my insurance again ( they didn’t put the prefix in...augh), wrong pills again. Me no personality pharmacist got on the computer to have me show him which pills I wanted. Third trip in I got the wrong pills again . I advised I would transfer my script somewhere else. Went to get my script at other pharmacy and they said they had called 3 times requesting transfer and no word from Safeway pharmacy. No empathy in this pharmacy by the pharmacist, he is quite frankly uncaring about his position.

On two separate occasions, trying to refill a 90 day supply of a prescription for my son, the pharmacist has been uncommunicative leaving my son without medication both times. It would not be an issue except that at each visit I was given a time to come back to pick up and each time they never even had the medication to make the fill to begin with.nnAfter making the third hour-long round-trip, I was told that they could either order the medication and cut my prescription into a third and return to the doctor to get a new script when we run out again, or I could just wait and see when the meds come in.nnSo with that, I was given a new time to come pick up scripts after delivery would “possibly” be made and that was false information as well. I won’t fault a pharmacy for delivery issues, but the pharmacist should be held accountable for every other issue relating to the scripts. My son is out of medication, we have no prescription, and I have to drive BACK INTO COLVILLE for the fourth time to see if they received a shipment and hope that they still have some meds left to fill a portion of this prescription that was called in on Tuesday, 01 Sept 2020.nnIf you cannot deliver a service, don’t pretend you can and waste people’s time Safeway. Unfortunately I’m stuck with you for a little while longer.

Before Albertson's purchased Safeway this pharmacy was the best in town. Now they are understaffed, have horrible software, and can't get things right. I stuck with them hoping this would get worked out. In the last year it has gotten so much worse. I am afraid it is time to give up on them. I waited WEEKS for a daily inhaler. Never did get my rescue inhaler. If the doctor calls in a prescription they don't look for it or fill it until you come in and tell them you have a perception. Then you are lucky if they find it.

I want to thank the staff for going the extra mile . my daughter has a condition that requires medication 3 times a day. My daughter was running low on her meds and I called in a refill. Heidi called and told me that the pharmacy was out of her medicine and the other Safeway stores were out as well. I went into panic and called the hospital. A few minutes later Heidi called me back to tell me she found a pharmacy that has my daughters medication. She sent everything over for me and in less than an hour I had the prescription in hand. Heidi went the extra mile to help a family in what could of been a very serious situation. The staff at this pharmacy has always been kind and very diligent with our refills. Thank you staff for being awesome.

Horrible service. Everytime I have stopped in they have no idea what is going on. I am from out of town on a hunting trip and it took them 3 days to transfer my prescription. First contact they said it would be ready the next day, was not the case. Everytime after, I called in they would tell me it would be ready soon and they would call me. Never happend. Get your prescription somewhere else
